Supporting Local Charities - Top Barn Farmd
The Worcester Tile team were very pleased to have recently donated 8m² of Italian tiles along with adhesive and grout to a local charity. The Good Soil Trust is located at the beautiful Top Barn Farm in Worcestershire.
One of our tradesmen, Grahame Wood of Wood Plumbing Services, already knew about the charity and reached out to us when he heard that they needed someone to donate quality tiles with fitting products to match, for one of the static caravans on site.
The good work done
The Good Soil Trust offer support to those struggling with life for reasons including mental illness, homelessness and crime. Forms of aid range from providing healthy food to helping develop essential life skills. Christian values are at heart and the charity is linked with The Salvation Army and local churches to focus their efforts and help as many people in need as they can.
This year, Worcester Tile is getting more involved with the community by reaching out to schools and charities. We have already lent a hand at Tudor Grange Academy with an arts project and held a Coffee Morning for Macmillan.
Worcester Tile Director, Peter Haley, says “we want to give back to our wonderful customers by putting ourselves out there and getting involved where we can. Grahame approached us and we were more than happy to support this wonderful cause.”
The tiles have been fixed by the volunteers at the farm and have made the place look "brand new".
